I. General information

1. The Scope of Processing of Personal Data

As a matter of principle, we collect and use personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The collection and use of personal data is regularly only carried out with the consent of the user. An exception is made in those cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

2. Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data.

In the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

3. Data Erasure and Storage Duration

The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. Furthermore, data may be stored if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU ordinances, laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the above-mentioned standards expires, unless there is a need to continue storing the data for the purpose of concluding or fulfilling a contract.

II. Provision of the Website

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without giving any personal information about yourself. Whenever you call up a website, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the call, transferred data volume and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are predominant in the context of a weighing of interests. All access data will be deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to our website.

2. Hosting Services by a Third Party Provider

Within the scope of processing on our behalf, Q23 medien GmbH Kaskelstraße 29, 10317 Berlin, Germany, as a third party provider, provides us with the services for hosting and displaying the website.

The data protection regulations of ScaleCommerce can be found here: https://scale.sc/kontakt/#datenschutz.

The commissioning of ScaleCommerce serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which are predominant in the context of a weighing of interests. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope described here.
