BRAND

Saint Michael is a vintage-style streetwear label that brings together the creative minds of multi-disciplinary artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt and READYMADE designer Yuta Hosokawa. Launched in 2020, this long-distance collaborative brand focuses on nostalgic graphics and the Japanese boro technique, which distresses fabric to achieve a vintage look and feel. Handmade in Japan, Saint Michael offers a rare selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts that embody a unique blend of craftsmanship and retro aesthetics. Saint Michael has quickly gained recognition and acclaim within the fashion industry. The brand's collaboration between Dewitt and Hosokawa has generated significant buzz, attracting attention from fashion enthusiasts and celebrities alike. The vintage-inspired designs and distressed aesthetic of their debut collection have resonated with fashion-forward individuals seeking unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

HISTORY

Saint Michael was born out of a cross-continental collaboration between Cali Thornhill Dewitt and Yuta Hosokawa. Hosokawa, renowned for his upcycling expertise and the success of his label READYMADE, joined forces with Dewitt after being introduced by style icon Kubo from Tokyo's GR8. The duo unveiled their debut collection in Paris in January, showcasing streetwear essentials that exude a distinct timeworn aesthetic. Each piece is meticulously hand-processed, creating a one-of-a-kind vintage appeal that stands out in today's market saturated with mundane fashion.

DESIGNER

Cali Thornhill Dewitt is a multi-hyphenate artist with a notable portfolio, including collaborations with renowned musician Kanye West.
