HISTORY

In 2008, the dynamic duo of fashion designer Yoon Ahn and her husband and rapper Verbal officially launched AMBUSH as a high-fashion jewelry label. The brand's debut in Paris in 2015 earned them recognition as two of Business of Fashion's Top 500 individuals influencing the global fashion industry for five consecutive years. Additionally, AMBUSH has consistently appeared on the HYPEBEAST 100 list for eight consecutive years. Notably, AMBUSH was a finalist for the prestigious LVMH PRIZE in 2017. The brand's distinct style has attracted collaborations with renowned names like Louis Vuitton, sacai, UNDERCOVER, Off-White, Moet, Bvlgari, Nike, Converse, Rimowa, and GENTLE MONSTER.

DESIGNER

Yoon Ahn, the creative force behind AMBUSH, studied graphic design at Boston University, graduating in 1998. Before the official launch of AMBUSH, Ahn established multiple design companies. Moving to Tokyo in 2003, Ahn laid the foundation for her future in jewelry design alongside her husband. In 2004, she co-founded the jewelry brand Antonio Murphy & Astro, creating couture jewelry and accessories for hip-hop contemporaries. The pivotal year of 2008 marked the official launch of AMBUSH as a high-fashion jewelry label. Notably, in 2018, Ahn was appointed as the designer for the Dior Homme jewelry line by then Dior creative director Kim Jones, making a remarkable debut at the Spring/Summer Paris men's fashion week that year.
